BridgeData V2
BridgeData V2 is an open dataset of roughly 60,000 robot manipulation trajectories, over 50,000 of them teleoperated demonstrations plus scripted rollouts, collected on low-cost WidowX 250 arms across 24 environments such as toy kitchens, with natural-language task annotations. Released by Berkeley-led collaborators in 2023 to support scalable multi-task learning research, it became a core training corpus within Open X-Embodiment and for generalist policies including OpenVLA and Octo.
Why it matters for physical AI
Bridge established that shared, low-cost-platform datasets let labs worldwide train and compare generalist policies on common ground, seeding the open data ecosystem behind current vision-language-action models.
Build physical AI
Put these concepts to work on real hardware
Axol is a dual-arm robot built for physical AI — teleoperate it, collect demonstrations, and deploy learned policies out of the box.
