Drone
Drone is the common term for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), an aircraft operated without an onboard pilot, ranging from palm-sized quadrotors to fixed-wing survey aircraft. Multirotor drones combine IMU-based attitude stabilization, GPS or visual-inertial state estimation, and electric propulsion, and serve applications from aerial imaging and inspection to mapping, agriculture, and delivery. Research platforms have demonstrated agile autonomous flight, including drone racing at champion human level with the Swift system.
