X-Ray Inspection Robot

An X-ray inspection robot is a robotic system that positions radiographic sources and detectors to perform non-destructive testing of welds, castings, pipelines, and composite structures, often as a synchronized pair of manipulators moving source and detector on opposite sides of the part. Robotic computed tomography extends the approach, coordinating trajectories to reconstruct full 3D volumes of large components such as aerospace assemblies.
