AI2-THOR is an open-source interactive 3D household simulator from the Allen Institute for AI, providing photorealistic indoor scenes where embodied agents can navigate, pick up objects, open containers, and change object states. Built on Unity, it underlies benchmarks including RoomR, RoboTHOR, and the ALFRED language-instruction benchmark, and supports procedural scene generation through ProcTHOR for large-scale training.
