Habitat
Habitat is an open-source simulation platform from Meta AI for training embodied agents in photorealistic reconstructions of indoor environments, capable of rendering thousands of frames per second. Habitat 1.0 (2019) targeted visual navigation using scanned datasets such as Matterport3D and HM3D; Habitat 2.0 added interactive rearrangement tasks, and Habitat 3.0 introduced simulated humanoid avatars for human-robot collaboration research.
