Tire Handling Robot

A tire handling robot is an industrial robot system configured to grasp, transport, stack, and palletize tires in tire manufacturing plants, warehouses, and vehicle assembly lines. Tires are challenging payloads: they are heavy, deformable, and often stacked in unstructured piles, so systems combine high-payload arms or gantries, mechanical or vacuum grippers shaped to the bead or tread, and 3D vision for localizing individual tires in bins and stacks.
