Zenoh
Zenoh is a high-performance publish-subscribe and query protocol from the Eclipse Foundation, developed by ZettaScale, that unifies data in motion and data at rest under one API and routes efficiently across LANs, WANs, and constrained links. It was adopted as an alternative ROS 2 middleware through rmw_zenoh, addressing long-standing DDS pain points such as discovery storms and unreliable behavior over Wi-Fi.
